That was my thought too. The greys aren't grey but slightly colored, kind of sepia. Do you do your own developing? Might be the choice of paper or developing fluid. It's not what you normally get from a commercial service these days.

My father introduced me to photography, he used to developed his own work in his lab and i ever love his way to treat colors. I just tried to reproduce this creamy treatment on photoshop

Aha! There's a place for stark & cool looking B&W, but this finish certainly has it's charms too. All depends on the topic of course. You used PS so subtly that I really thought you used an old (which doesn't mean outdated) process.
