Description
A Golecian Infantry Patrol from the 41st Mechanized Panzergrenadiers engages a sniper from the Tassian Liberation Front while on peacekeeping duties in the Tassian Region.

Golecian infantry squads are typically based around the squad's light machinegun, their Maschinengewehr-19. There is one machinegunner, who is typically also armed with a pistol alongside his MG-19, as well as an assistant machinegunner, who helps feed the weapon, holds it down during combat, and takes over if the machinegunner is unable to perform his duty. As well, there are eight other individuals in the squadron, the commander and infantry. The squad leader is arguably the most important member of the squad, along side the machinegunner(s). They are equipped with smoke grenades, flareguns, and a Maschinenpistole-32, and are tasked with leading and supporting the squad. There is also the squad sanitäter, or combat medic, who was issued only a pistol or MP-32 and large amounts of medical supplies. The rest of the men in the squadron are just infantry, and are tasked with supporting the machinegun and adding to it's overall firepower; as well as carrying extra boxes of ammunition for the MG. These infantry were usually given (one or two) Panzerfaust-42 Disposable Anti-Tank Weapons and three standard 'Stick-Granate' Fragmentation Grenades, as well as either MP-32s or Sturmgewehr-11s depending on supply and preference. This loadout effectively allows the infantry squad to engage anything up to an airship or heavy tanks.
