Been crazy with work, so I haven't been able to touch these sketches for a while. Onto another favorite of mine.I actually grew to like Sonic parents as I got older. They care and protect their son while still allowing him to be himself (which is difficult to not do. xD) I liked their strength and dignity, and their love and respect for each other. One of my most favorite scenes with them is when they kicked Naugus out of their house after rejecting his offer of a healthy body for Jules. Classic
Anyway, I can't think of much change for Bernie, except maybe a bit of speed of her own could be fun.
But I always was kinda sad about Jules being trapped in full robotic body. I thought maybe he could have similar circumstances to Bunnie, becoming injured and gaining robotic limbs as a result. Only in his case, much more severe. It gives him enhanced strength and speed, as well as far vision with his robotic eye. Plenty of opportunity to kick butt.

Have you seen the jayfoxfire Sonic Family Life video series on YouTube? In it where Sonic and Sally are married and have their own kids besides Bernie de-rpboticized it has a de-roboticized Jules.

Hope IDW withdraws the mandate Archie made in the last years of its Sonic contract so Sonic has a parent or two again.

It would be nice, but I doubt it. Sega did put a stamp on relatives.

Maybe the stamp on relatives can be lifted thanks to IDW so Sonic can have a mother and father again (Did Sonic once have 2 or 3 mothers? One other mother I know Sonic had was Queen Aleena in the Sonic Underground world).
I also wasn the stamp from Sega to have Sonic romance again lifted thanks to IDW as well so that Sonic could have the Amy Rose and (if she makes the IDW Sonic cut) Sally Acorn LOVE TRIANGLE SHOWDOWN or something like that.

Yeah. It's nice to see these too getting recognition for once. They really don't get enough credit for being good characters, especially as the PARENTS of SONIC. And your designs are pretty neat. Too bad penders owns them. Man, that guy's an idiot. He did come up with some neat stuff like these two, though. Too bad he took it away. Dick move. Anyway, nice work on the rental pair.
