For some reason... this piece excites me and scares me at the same time. Their expressions are so tender, yet at the same time, the really dark colours and the poppies just feel extremely... sanguine. Maybe it's because of WWI associations, I guess O_o

the old version is also beautiful. i'm totally in love with it.
the colors is cool, iΓ€'ve always loved red mixed with black, it always amazes me. it's my fav-combo in colors. (is it normal to think like that?)
is it headphones on the girld head? it looks like a candy cane (yum). though... is it a girl? or a boy? and what about the other one? it looks like a boy and a girl...
