Description Deadpool is my new favorite superhero. So naturally I had to crochet an amigurumi of him for the guy who introduced me to the badassness that is Deadpool. I was originally doing him Little Big Planet style, but his head turned out much too small for that, so he's just a bit chibi...but with a zipper. As you can see, I got a little detailed. The utility belt snaps off. The katanas were made by pressing some aluminum tubing with pliers (that's why they look beat up), baking some clay around the handle, and painting it.

I got a request for the pattern, but to be honest, I kind of made up the pattern as I went. Silly me for not writing it down. :\ To my best estimate, the head and body went something like this:

Head:
Work 6 sc from magic ring
sc twice in each st (12 st)
*sc, increase* repeat 6 times (18 st)
*sc, sc, increase* repeat 6 times (24 st)
*sc, sc, sc, increase* repeat 6 times (30 st)
*sc, sc, sc, sc, increase* repeat 6 times (36 st)
*sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, increase* repeat 6x (42 st)
sc the whole way around (42 st) - repeat this row 4 times
decrease to 36 st
decrease to 30 st
decrease to 24 st
decrease to 18 st
decrease to 12 st

Body (attached to head, not a separate piece):
*sc, increase* repeat 6x (18 st)
*sc, sc, increase* repeat 6x (24 st)
*sc, sc, sc, increase* repeat 6x (30 st)
TURN HOOK AROUND and single crochet 30 times the other way--this is to allow for the zipper.
Turn hook around, sc around 30 times again. Repeat this (turning the hook after 30 st and single crocheting in the opposite direction) until the body looks like an acceptable length...my guess would be this would be after five or six times doing this.
Then, decrease to 24 st.
Decrease to 18 st.
Decrease to 12 st.
Decrease to 6 st.
Close off.
Stuff his head and body. I sewed some felt inside the body before I added the zipper so his "guts" didn't fall out.

For the legs, I don't remember what exactly I did, but I believe at the widest part (i.e. the feet) it was 24 stitches around, and then I very gradually decreased to I think 15 st around? Maybe less? Doing only a decrease of a single stitch each time.

The arms were fairly tubular, and I think they were 15 stitches around at widest.

The fingers were 4 or 5 stitches around, and I did four for each hand, with the thumb naturally being a bit shorter than the other fingers. I sewed those onto the hand. The hand was just a basic sphere that was probably only 12 st around at its widest...I don't quite remember how I did the hands, sorry!

For the mask, I crocheted two triangles. (Google "how to crochet a triangle", I'm sure I just used the first result. Then sewed a single line of white yarn into each.

I have NO idea how I did the black sleeves/armor. I crocheted it, but it may be easier to do that part in felt if you don't feel like experimenting.

His gun holsters and the black ring around his neck were done in felt.

Sorry I can't be more specific, and I apologize if some of the stitch numbers are wrong, as I am writing this pattern over a year after I crocheted him!

Sorry I am just now getting around to replying; I hardly check my dA anymore! I've edited the description to include a pattern. But unfortunately as I made him over a year ago and was making it the pattern as I go, I don't guarantee its accuracy. It's more of a general guide if you want to try to make him yourself. You may have to tweak some things, but I hope it helps.
