Phew! Nearly at the deadline, but it's finished! C: Once again this year I entered my lovedove =Enaxn 's Secret Santa, and I was given *Phantasi3 who wanted her rainbow coloured fursona Sketch.Was originally going to do this with pencils but I FORCED myself to do it digitally, and I think I actually learned a lot doing it C: Had lots of fun with the lighting here too!

Man every time you draw something digital it gets LEAPS AND BOUNDS OF BETTER. sflgkbnfsg I just LOVE this! God all the colors BUT THERE IS STILL SASSY FIRELIT BACKLIGHT. HNGH. I love that faaaaaace sd.fbnfgb those shiny eyes and those TEETH. Omg shaded Becca expressions it's like CHRISTMAS.

I love that background kfgbjnfg. I love the blurred snow outside and all those details in the wood and that amazing fire and that AWESOME red velvety thing Sketch is on. God all those pretty wrinkles *__*. The backlighting is AMAAAAZING too! I love it so hard. It adds so much mood and deliciousness. Heee this is just lovely. Ugh, I did struggle with the background here, and it's not wonderful, but I think it's better than what I could have done a few months ago which is nice at least XD Thanks so much for your lovely words and for once again holding such a FUN scret santa

AND because I am totally nosey lololol I read what you said to Livvi about being scared to ruin an image. If you ever wanna just...try something out to see how it looks? Well you can! 8D Just add a new layer, and do what you want to do and...well if you don't like it, you can just delete that layer. c: I mean, ok, you...end up doing stuff over and over sometimes. But it can be a nice way to learn what works and what doesn't. o: Idk if that's good advice or not, but I hope it helps! <3

And yessss... I was messing around with layers for ages, fidding with opacity and shading and tbh I just didn't know what looked good! I think there comes a point with every picture where you've looked at it for so long, you just forget what you wanted in the first place! XD but certainly better shadows could have been something i could have tried... I will certainly do that next time!

Love the yellow glow from the flames. So purdy <3 Critique wise... Not sure if it's just personal preference for me but I like to use harsher and more solid shadows in certain areas. For example... Under the chin on the left hand side to contrast with lighting from the fire.
