Oh my gosh, I just can't take it anymore! My eyes!!! T__T

So, here it is, that insanely detailed picture I promised you all. Only if fell way short of my expectations. (Partially because of time restrictions, but mostly becuse I wanted to start over from scratch...) Anyway, I call it done. And not, not like I called my other picture done. (speaking of, I just keep working on that one. lol) I might make a few minor adjustments tomorrow when I wake up (and probably freak out that I posted it without sleeping on it first) but I had to get it up here before I chicken out of entering the contest at all.

Righty, moving on. In case you haven't figured it out yet, this is for =silverglass19 s contest (found here ) There are soooo many awesome entries, (found here , go check them out!) Soooo yeah. That's it.

Ah! Maybe not! (sheesh, can you tell it's way to late for me?) I really wanted to incorporate as much of Everlee as I could in this, so I sacked my original idea of doing all (yes all) of the characters as carousel animals on one giant carousel and have most of them on Minte's tack.

Story time! The idea behind this is that there was a man who came upon this herd of horses and in the herd he saw a very unusually colored mare among them. He was amazed by her courage and take charge attitude. He followed the herd as closely as they would let him and he sketchd many pictures of the horses, especially of the unusual wild mare. Many years later, he found his sketchbook from his travels that summer. Flipping through the pages he remembered the you mare and her firey attitude. He assumed that she would be very old now or possibly even dead. Even so, he returned to the plains to see the wild horses once more. After a week, he finally found a wild herd. Much to his suprise, there was an unusually colored firey mare. They ran quickly away from him, so he never knew if it was the same one from so many years ago. Returning home, he was inspired to create a carousel horse in her honor.

...yes that made no sense, but that's what I was thinking. XP

Anywho, I did western inspired tack because I thought it'd look neat. The Cubby family is located on the breast plate thingy. The wolves on the seat panel are Duce and Cease (from left to right). And the horses on the butt flap are (L to R) Rosalin, Greer, and Adelais. (if you could see the other side, the pattern would continue and there would be Dalibor, Seven, and Alonso). If you've ever heard the phrase "she's a pistol" then you would understand why I put the old western gun on there. (here's a helpful website, scroll down until you find the word pistol. ) I thought it would fit in with Minthe's personality. And on the flap where the gun is and on the saddle seat are mint leaves.

Sorry, that was some 3 am humor one evening.
