This is my attempt to hanging a newborn hehe inspiration by many in flickr THANKS to all!but i still have to learn haha how to keep the baby's head in a good position it kept sloping down by the end this was my capture! i think it's pretty good for my first try
OMG! i'm so excited i finally got to have a Newborn photo session and i enjoyed it to the fullest
the baby was a total charm only 11 days old and looking so pretty already! Mom and Dad were super cooperative wich helped all the way ^^

Well this was not so easy but it is easier than what it seems (do u get my point?) hehe this one was actually held by her father he held the baby above the bed while she was still sleping i managed to get two or three shots ^^ actually she never woke up during the session

It's a beautiful photo. My only concern is the way the baby's head is slumped would make it hard for him to breathe, and the stomach being all hunched up like that in a sitting position could cause reflux issues.

Well i wouldn't have any concern in that this shot was taken in about less than 1 minute (very quick) baby's position is almost fetal so it's been maybe 9 months with it's head this way hehe ,but don't worry i know how to work with newborns i've been doing it for quite a while. Plus if the baby was in any disconfort it WILL cry the baby slept all the session, woke up only once to drink a bit of milk then back to sleep

yes but on the womb they have the umbilical cord...which gives them air.
people think that its okay to throw a baby in water since in the womb theyve been on water 9 months..thats totally erratic.
this seems like a very uncomftruble position for the baby, apart from a beautiful shot a 11 day old is too soft.

yeah that's actually true i understand what u mean but, i mean since this was done in what less than 15 seconds? it was taken really fast and we got the shot, i wanted something better cuz we all wanted to try baby with a better head posture but it became hard for me since it WAS my FIRST one. so lets' not be too harsh on my lack of newborn posing practice

hehe that's ok no worries. Yeah that's actually true but i think they are pretty used to it. I wanna try it again but this time it will be with the correct hangs i or in another position

This picture is beautiful, I love the concept of it hanging. I'm glad that you used black and white for this as I don't think it could have been so perfect if it had been in colour.
