EarthBound is definately my favorite RPG game for many reasons. One being the game is VERY funny.
I just heard that they're finally ganna release Mother 3 (The new EarthBound game, EB is known as "Mother" in Japan) for the Gameboy Advance in Japan, Spring 2006! YAY!
Hopefully they'll release it here in North America. Anyways here's a silly li'l pic I drew of Ness, and one of his allies Prince Poo, who're two of the four main characters in the game. Don't ask, I thought it was funny at the time...

lol I recall Nintendo Power magazine didn't even cover the N64 version of the game oddly. (Yet they covered many other M-rated games.)

Not to mention the obscure Gameboy Color game "Conkor's Pocket Tales," wich was released long before "Bad Fur Day."
(And retained the original kid-friendlly cutesy design they were originally going to use for the N64 version.)
Oddly, in the remake "Diddy Kong Racing DS" they edited out Conkor, and Banjo (of Banjo Kazooie fame) and replaced them with Dixie, and Tiny Kong from the DK games.
(Probilly 'cause Microsoft possiblly owns the rights to those characters now... Unfortunatelly, I must add.)

Here's hoping we can still get Blast Corps, and Banjo Kazooie on the Wii's Virtual Console. (Wich seems doubtfull.)

One of the other things that's funny about Earthbound and smell were the infamous smell-cards that were packed in with ... (either Nintendo Power or in the Player's Guide... one of the two can't remember now)... those were disgusting.

When I first saw the SSBM trophy for that character the first thing that leapt to mind was 'Poo? What the hell...?'

I tried playing Earthbound, but lo, I was not entertained. Must've been the wrong version, as it was awfully clunky and slow.

Ahh, what a great game that is. I think I'm going to go and change my listings, finally: Chrono Trigger is now my second favorite game, with THIS being the top. I've beated it like 10 times, and it's still fun.
