A black swallowtail caterpillar.July 2006

was instrumental in helping me set this shot up, as she picked Ernie off the plant and set him onto her shoulder (pictured). She later placed him gently back on his little plant-home.

Well, using a photo editing program really helped. I desaturated the overall image and then brightened it.
