I have ideas for how a character like this would occur.
1: The hybrid was born to be used as a weapon by either angels or most likely demons in order to get an advantage over the other.
2: The hybrid is a bastard child.

Or they could also be Giants. Again the term is disputed on a lot.

Nephilim is a very broad and notoriously vage term from a historical standpoint, that really can refer to a large multitude of various things. They were only known asΒ the offspring of the 'Sons of God' and the 'Daughters of Man'.
What exactally that means has been disputed but for the most part it is (Usually) accepted that Nephilim are either the Offspring of Seth (Who was the third son of Adam and Eve) or the Offspring of Angels.
Really there is no official name for any Angel/Demon hybrids, as such a concept would be considered Blasphemous and as such it is unlikely anyone durring those days would even concieve of such an entity. Nephilim are almost always at least partially human, and historically are never part demons.
It's only in pop culture where Nephilim are describes as Angel/Demon hybrids.
So from a mythological standpoint, no, this picture is not of a Nephilim.

That part I do know, just when you made that picture it remined me of the cursed union between angel and demon, from the game Darksiders.

I only played the first one, and my memory is a bit fuzzy. The Nephilim are the Horseman right?
