weee I did something similar for my big pixels that I did a while back~but anyway sketching is definitely my favorite part of the process and I thought some of you might be interested in seeing the sketch of your custom adopt~
take a look and see if I decided to change anything or how your adopt started off in general~
also you can see I have no consistency when it comes to the size of the canvas I draw on OTL
again if you don't see your custom, it means I probably deleted the sketch layer ;v;
all characters belongs to their respective owners who I completed the customs for and completed customs can be seen here: [link]

and yes! I use different colors when I draw clothes on or add details, but I generally try to use a color that will match the color palette of the character when I sketch too

Oh, what a great idea! Sometimes I use colors if I know two things might get confused, but I never thought to use them as something to help with a palette~
