Description I know I shouldn't be posting this until its completely done, but I guess I wanted to hear some feedback. I don't know. But I'll re-post once its finished or I think its finished. The last couple of rotations didn't get a lot of attention, but they will.

I love the overall shoftness that came from not inking a image.

thanks. I like the look of inking, but I definitely like it more when ink lines or pencil lines can be changed colors and allowed to blend in more with the overall image. That's kind of what multiplying the pencil layer does, i guess.

muchas gracias.... i need to finish this sucker. I sent it along with other work to Lucas Arts applying for a concept art job, but who knows if I'll get it. I don't know if I have anything thats truly geared for concept art.. or at least not enough stuff. I'll have to get on the ball after I graduate in June. Later!

Man. I really like the slightly non-traditional space opera garb he be sportin. Kindof has that tastey retro throwback thing going on.

tahnks man, it was for pauls concept class. basically, this guy is a martian biker, who is a mechanic at one of the mining facilities in a secluded settlement in the Martian frontier. I need to do rotations of his bike some day, its awesome. But I never got it fully rendered out. Just a lot of sketches.
And the environement is really low oxygen and kind of cold.. so I thought spacesuit meets Mt. Everest mountain climber. I would love to do more with this world and character some day... but i dont know what. The story i came upw ith was a horribly cliche'd Bruce Willis / Total Recall flick.

Very cool character design. I love the full rotation. I actually like the last two rotations the best because you show the back pack, which has a lot of detail in it. Is this a character of your own design?

Thanks, yeah its my design. I should have put that in the description. Yeah, I really like the back too, so many cool gizmos and they all do something, theoretically.
