My Christmas card for this year! <3 I will be sending/printing a better quality version for my overseas relatives and the family and friends I have here. Gotta get organised and send me some emailz!soo soo busy.
oh and before you WTF all over his anatomy.. Noello is a a char I made specifically as a christmas icon ^^ iv put him on two previous cards so far.
HE IS A REINDORSE! aka. caribou bred with a shire horse. For one thing this fellah is huge though mostly retaining caribou looks his musculature is more similar to a horses thickness (legs etc) and his hooves are uncloven.

xD I know, that was a pretty weird way to start a comment. ANYWAY. Omigosh, this is absolutely fantastic Holly! As somebody before me already mentioned, the anatomy is truly believable; I don't see a single flaw in his design and I feel that I can actually see such magnificent creature in the wild somewhere. You've done a wonderful job with the pose too, as if he's bowing to the viewers and... well... saying Happy Holidays. xD From the thumbnail in my inbox, I could immiedately tell that this was a postcard, perfect design to it and all! Very simple yet it retains that elegance to it, I know I would love to see this in MY mailbox! x) Have I told you before that I have always loved the way you draw fur? Like... seriously. Is most of the art in your gallery, you always put amazing detail into the fur and just... omg. Stunning. <3 Why I said that? Well, I just love love that whispy fur that's flowing around his hooves, such those of a horse, and his neck fur looks so soft and I really wanna snuggle my face into that. n_n His eye is gorgeous and the way he's just smiling, ohgod, too sweet. <33 The coloring, man I can't tell you how much I am jealous of the way you color, espeically with the fur and the shading to make the character look like they do have muscles. Very realistic stuff and you seem to have the power to really suck people into your artwork.
Beautiful character, Holly, I hope the people who got this postcard enjoyed it and that you had yourself a happy holidays! [I know, I'm really late with that but better now than never eh? ;D]

The anatomy is a perfect split between a horse and a reindeer...very nice indeed. Especially those hooves...the fluff on them looks so soft and wispy. <333
