thanks to those who came and watched me stream!I didn't really get any redlines for scales when I asked but got a few helpful critiques so I buckled down and based it more on her original armoring. Heres the comparison: [link]
This was just an exercise in patience for my next artwork
I probably won't draw her this scale heavy all the time. As far as anatomy and face shape goes this is much closer to what I feel than the previous concept art here: [link] Glorious background texture by hibbary, leather wing texture from google (cheap I know but I was running out of steam x_x)

Shes female, those are lifted stiff scales along the mane and shes standing on nothing because I am lazy lol.

Oh man yer good! She truly is a fine specimen of dragonhood lassy! Love how yer green eyes stand out so well against the greys and blues! Love the care taken on the detailed scaling. Honestly words can not convey the true epic beauty of what you have done. Simply magnificent! That background is quite awesome as well.
