Description
James trudge through the snowy plains. Why did the gang make him go out in the snow? Why couldn't Thomas go out and get some food? He sighed, and continued.

After a few minutes something appeared on the horizon. James squinted against the glow off the snow. He then realized who it was.

"GORDON!" he yelled out in shock. He hurried over to his unconscious body, turning it over so he was on his back. He panicked when he saw that his eyes were shut. He pressed his ear against his chest. Much to his relief, there was a heartbeat, and he was breathing steadily. He then looked down, and covered his mouth in shock.

Just underneath Gordon's chest was a large gash. It was bleeding heavily. James attempted to stop the flow by putting his red sleeve on the wound, but blood just kept coming. He panicked further, and attempted to lift him up to carry him to a hospital, or any place to get some help. He only managed to pull him partway before dropping him in exhaustion. He dropped to his knees, tired. He was starting to black out before he saw a figure in the distance.

She was relatively tall with golden hair. She had a dark magenta and gold dress on, and her eyes seemed to glow golden. James' body couldn't take anymore of the cold, and he passed out.

James woke up in a shock. He looked around. "Where am I?" he asked.

"The hospital." a voice said. James looked over. It was the same figure that he saw in the snowy field. Then he remembered. "Gordon!!! Where is he?!" he asked.

"Your friend is in the operating room, James. He's going to be abosolutely fine." the figure said.

James froze. "How do you know my name?" he asked.

The figure tilted her head to the side. "Don't you remember me? I'm Lady, the magical steam engine." the figure replied.
