Description RAWR!

Well, this is for this weeks WeArt Challenge: "Create a God" ...this is sort of kinda more of a giant monster thing. BUT! I did think of a bit of a story for it. It's supposed to be an earth god for this village, and the people didn't pay proper patronage to him for how much they've expanded... or something. SO, he's come from the depths of earth to smack some heads and show who's boss, starting at the temple! Lol... so it could just be a monster, but this is sort of what I was thinking when I made it!

This was a lot of fun to make, and fun to think up ideas! Thanks Leslie for this weeks topic, I really liked it!

Done in CS5 with an intuos 4 tablet

This is insane man. Just from looking at it you get the sense of a deeper narrative. The creature looks great too! I just love it!

You're far too kind! I'm glad you like it so much! And I would like to do it in color... and I really want to fix the hand on the left cause it's bothering me and is hard to read. But yeah, I'm planning on experimenting with coloring a black and white image. Haha, so we'll see how that goes!

Damn i'm in love with the perspective. Reminds me of Clover field. That's great thing about art, your thoughts and imagination come alive, and this is a fine example of that.
