I don't think I'm really the best person to answer this question, as I'm not that great at drawing them, but first I just this about all the angles. Then I just draw the really basic shapes of the people and go from there.

I always have a bunch of drafts for poses like that, because it's one of the most difficult poses, in my opinion.

Just practice and you'll get better.

I really really like how Anastasia looks here. I used to watch Anastasia all the time as a little kid It was my fav movie back then. Although I don't know who Thomas and Runner are, they look cute here and you draw them kissing quite well
