I want so much to add this beautiful image to my favourites, but there is an overuse of blurring too close to the foreground.
My eyes hurt as soon as I focus just past the clarity of the first beautiful flower. The reason my eyes hurt is because they are trying to make sense out of the upper part of the image where the blurring is concentrated.
The same happens on the other image entitled, 'ice' - you have such a beautiful foreground and a clarity to the middle right, and then there is a conflict between clarity and blurring too close together, that it hurts the eyes.
I'm not too sure how to explain it better than that, my friend - the blurring is overpowering two otherwise beautiful and stunning images!
Perhaps a subtle and softer focus?
I hope this makes sense - I'm not a photographer, and don't really know how to explain what I mean.
