Yep...it sure looks like it has been around the block a couple of times! This is a beautiful drawing. The asymmetrical composition works very well. The way the limbs of the foreground tree point out of the picture plane is distracting. The way the tree in the right middle ground curves back is a really good design element. The spatial atmosphere works well here. The fact that the deciduous trees have no leaves helps in creating an abandoned look. The textures here...tree bark, rusting metal, different grasses...adds so much to the realism of the piece. The range of value changes is good, and the use of the value changes to show the planes and contours of the body of the truck are sterling. And that one tire with the weeds in it is a great added touch. This is an excellent piece of work! This is a very STRONG piece of work!
