These are little octopuss animals! There is a Foxtopuss, a Dogtopuss, a Croctopuss, and an Octo-puss
. I had an Oxtopuss, but I didn't know if people would be crazy about buying a cow item. So, I made a little kitty one instead. I'm looking for your opinions. I was going to make these into little charms, but I want to ask a large number of people what they think first.
Do you think these are cute, or do you think these are scary/creepy?
I only have about 24 hours to decide to order these in time for a show we're going to. I don't want to make them if people think they're funky or ugly.
If you like these, PLEASE say so here. If not, also say so, as it will determine whether I want to chance making them or not.

for some of them it just looks like very stylized legs--maybe if there was an extra tentacle to show that would help. I think these would look cute as charms regardless *would want a croc*

Hi all! I decided to go ahead and place the order for these charms! I made a few adjustments on them and fixed a few mistakes. I should have 25 each of these very soon. They are for a con here in a few weeks, but I'll have the remaining ones for sale online! If they do really well I will reorder them

If I hadn't known they were Octo-s when I first saw them I would probably have thought they just had little chubby legs. For me, the slightly longer or more tapered tentacley versions might be more unique?
If scary-cute doesn't sell though I can see why you'd keep them nubby. You should definitely make a version. They're awesome. ^_^

I do have an actual tentacle monster guy that I'd like to make charms out of too. That one, there's no doubt he has tentacles, hahaha.

Octopi are just...weird and strangely cute. Plus most anime fans love them because they're closely associated with all things Japanese.

OMG so cute. Are they theoretically supposed to have 8 limbs? Or only 4 that are tentacle-like? I like cows but I think these four are probably safest to start with.

Do eeeeeeet! They could probably use an enema since they seem to always have a burr up their ass. You could prolly do the kitty for the octopussy ref. Or I just had this beautiful image in my mind of an octopussy storming a city with lazers coming out of it's eyes... mmm...

Oh man, the cow was actually the cutest one. I was going to make him blue like Babe the Ox. But, if I make these, and they do well, I'll do a second set and include the Ox

These were supposed to be for Akon. But I need to order them right away to get them in time ;_;. I was all set to order, but I don't want to get burned and have a bunch of items that people don't like. Merrr. I'm going to see what the general consensus is by tomorrow night. I really want to make them. I had planned to for like months now. But I don't want people to think they're creepy :\. In the pencil drawings the tentacles come across more, but with the thick lines it sort of comes off as 'nubby', haha. Which to me is still cute, but eh, people are different.
