Those designs are really cool! I love your creepy but cute characters. And the costumes are beautiful, it's funny how they wear a tunic on top of their armor, was it the custom at the time?

Yes, in a lot of the artwork of the period I looked at a knight wore a tunic over his armour. I was told that due to the fact that many family members entered the same joust (for instance, a grandfather, his son and his grandson could be in the same tournament) it was imperative that they be easy to tell apart by the colours and heraldry they wore. A lot of knights didn't seem to wear that kind of thing, but I liked how it looked so I added it. ^^

Yes it ad a lot to the design! I guess that's the kind of "originality" that is allowed when you take good documentation. When you don't (like lazy me) you miss a lot of ideas...Β
I also love creepy/cute things a lot. You really have a great universe with your characters, associations and graphic choices and I can't wait to see what comic you will make!Β
