Description
This is another sketch I did last weekend at EFNW 2016. The character's name is Marina and she's an unofficial mascot of the con. She may have been unofficial but the fans loved her and you could find her likeness all over the con. Heck they were selling plushies of her at the Con Store. Which sold out by Saturday afternoon.Now Petina immediately took a liking to Marina, but isn't that surprising considering Petina has a thing for mermaids. Round and around. Hobbies. Good Seal of approval.

Marina was actually one of the official mascots of the con. She's right there on the cover of the con book.
I don't think I stopped to say hi because the one time I found a spare few moments to do a cruise through the dealer's den was when you seemed to be kind of busy and I didn't want to be weird and awkwardly interrupt you with a customer, but I was at the con and I did want to say I'm glad you made it out there, too. Hoping you decide to come by next year as well.

Yes she was on the cover of program book and she was in the convention mini comic but according to one person who use to be a staff member she was not a official mascot. Very popular but not yet canonized by the committee. The person speaking hoped she would become the mascot, but time will tell.
