Luna’s efforts to remove the nightmare spell seeds from Applebloom’s dream fabric in my Equestria dreamscape has to begun to take its toll on the princess. linkThere are occasions in my dreams when I am effectively a phantom who can observe events unfolding in my dreams even when I am not physically present for them. I am unable to take action while in this state, however I can often travel to distance locations and even enter the dreams of characters in my dream. This was one of those moments.
Celestia has expressed concern over Luna repeated exposure to such violent and horrific illusions. True Luna is the defender of dreams, but these grotesque dream sequences are more than just nightmares in ponies’ minds, they’re deliberate magical attempts to mold and break the mind and will of those they are being inflicted upon. Celestia was worried that despite Luna’s precautions that her younger sister could be endangering herself to what amounted to mental contamination from the spells.
As result of Luna confronting and removing the nightmare seeds is the Princess of the Night has begun experiencing nightmares hers own. One evening I got to witness one of these nightmares unfold before my eyes.
After this particular nightmare, Celestia insisted that Luna let her older sister take a dream walk through her head to see if any seeds had some how taken root despite their precautions. Now Celestia does not have the same skill level that Luna has in this field, but based on her observations Celestia felt confident that Luna did not have any nightmare seeds growing in her. However she insisted that Luna take a week off before resuming her work with Applebloom.

Seriously though, this could be bad news. I really hope it's just Luna having her own nightmares after removing all those seeds. I'm hoping Celestia is right, and Luna can get some needed rest.

Yes and consider this, there is one other pony besides Applebloom that the Deception got to spend some one on one time with alone. The princesses don't seem to be worried about them. It is only ponies that got the evil version of the Vulcan mind-meld that seemed to be at risk.

We are talking about Deception and the conection was established when Twilight was pierced. There could exist some automatic process that downloads the evil programm to pierced victim. I think they should examine those injured guads too even if Twilight is clear. There is too much unknown.

What the sisters are more concerned about is the fact that while the Deception had Twilight skewered it had the time to have a little heart to heart talk with Celestia's favorite student, and showed her things like the Vortex of Heaven and other stuff that Twilight couldn't understand. That was when they feared some booby-traps might have been planted. It wasn't just a quick, violent, assault like the attacks in the orchard.
Now this whole thing with Luna and Applebloom happened almost a year ago so I have since had many dreams in this Dreamscape. Fortunately after examination none of the injured guard have exhibited any signs of trouble. Which is very good.

You know, this is something I wondered about. With all those seeds so carefully planted, is it possible that they could "spread" when they bloomed. And while Luna might take precautions, it is possible that no precaution she knows would be enough.....

Celestia is also growing concerned that there was another pony that the Deception was able to spend alone with even if for a very short time. Aye, but so long as Luna is uncorrupted, she can "cleanse" Twilight in much the same manner she is for Apple Bloom. While Twi would be someone to be concerned about, hers is likely more "normal" in nature (at least as normal as that deception can get).

Yeesh, yeah definitely take a week off and try to relax and unwind as much as possible Luna! Can't help Applebloom if you yourself have a nervous breakdown because of these vile seeds. Hmm, wonder if the palace has a good psychologist on staff in case Luna needs to talk to somebody besides Celestia?
