Wow, really great atmosphere - I'm half expecting something bad to happen, especially with the dark clouds billowing up in the back. If this is how it looked in real life I think I would be terrified!
Anyway - great job, its no easy task creating atmosphere, and this has lots of it - especially like the tone and contrast.

you've chosen a quite fitting title for this piece, it does indeed feel quite monumental when looking at it.
I'm really liking the depth of field, how the image makes you travel between the three different spaces (the sky, the mountain, the grass/rocks), it gives off a sense of adventure in that way. Yet at the same time, the colouring (which I also quite like) and the sky give it a bit of an ominous feeling...
what is that in the side of the mountain?

wow those are such beautiful colors... i really like the contrasts of the white and blacks and the contrasts are all very ominous looking. The textures are really something here too... for some reason i keep thinking Lord of the Rings but oh well
