Over all the smog there is always stars. Made in light of resent events...
First attempt at using a stock photo as background. Was hard, heh... The beautiful stock photo of New York (which I slaughtered) is by Tigg-stock and can be found here: browse.deviantart.com/?qh= Β§ion=&q=new+york+stock+20#/d23dmub
Done in Gimp and SAI
EDIT: And now I'm so annoyed with my self! I did a really stupid error and saved it as JPG in stead of SAI and there was still issues I wanted to fix, augh! I tried doing something, but I just ended up making it a kinda sucky quality. Oh, well...

Oh, thank you! That was the hard part in this, getting the colors in what I drew from scratch to match the background. Worked for ever with the background to, even if it barely shows XD But glad you think it matches

I really love the feel of this one, it's so very relaxing with the dark sky, the lighted windows and the stars. Seeing those two sitting together so comfortable and at peace -- yeah, perfect. I like those little touches too, Raph's hand atop Leo's, Leo's arm wrapped around Raph's leg - they make this moment so much more intimate.

Thank you! It wasn't so relaxing to do, I hope I'll get better with using stock photos, heh. Good lord, I messed around with this... There are some things I would have fixed if I hadn't deleted the original file... but OPS to late! But I'm like: I made it, so I'm posting it! XD

You call this sucky? I know you're older than me but I will not allow you to insult yourself over this. You have no idea how breath-taking it was for me. I was gawking at it for one full minute before moving down to read the description. Can't you realize that after our best friends' withdrawal, you are one of the few left to inspire (or to ruin XP) the mind of the young one like myself? Please don't be so harsh with your creation like that...

Oh, I didn't mean to speak badly of the pic it self! Only the jpg quality it was saved in! When the pic was finished and I resized it for DA, I accidentally pushed the "save" key after that, so I lost the original full size one in SAI format. And jpg quality was the wrong choice for this pic even. (Should have went for PNG, maby...) And also there was some small anatomical stuff I saw later on that I wanted to change, but couldn't because I didn't have the original file anymore.
But yeah, after a second glans, the picture quality wasn't quite as bad as I thought, so I edited the text :-P
I'm really happy you like it, tho! I wanted it to be in the memory of the persons you mentioned, until they return <3 (Jeez, sounds like they're dead, the way we talk about them XD)
