What gets me the most about this picture is how the composition is so well executed. The dark rose in the background, the dark hair and the darkened clothes, yet her eyes are the brightest part of the piece. Which, of course, draws your attention to it. I love the way you expressed her emotion. Like she looks to be in a great deal of pain or hallow, or even Β forlorn. The emotion is well done. And this may seem redundant, but the rose in the background is just lovely. The colors and lines and even the way you managed to make it look so real, I adore every aspect of this.
