Not gonna lie, this doesn't look anything like the photo. It seems a lot of your drawings you avoid capturing what makes the model unique in favour of making them generically attractive.

Maybe, you haven't found it out yet, that Banzchan don't do realistic portraits but manga-like ones?
However, I can agree in that the girls in his art usually more attractive, than the original photos

This is old af, but nowhere did he say that he would make exact replicas of the people. Kind of defeats the purpose of photos, too.

Old or not, even his newer portraits suffer the same problem.
You don't have to exactly copy a photo for it to capture their likeness. What he's attempting to do is create a characture in his particular style. And he's failing to do so. That's what I'm pointing out. Why draw a photo of someone if you're not going to actually draw them eh? So you're right, it does defeat the purpose of the photos
