Aw, that's lovely, I love the idea, and it came awesome! <'3
The rock band it's great. I look like him when I'm bored in class... X'D
And the Band's name it's so cool!

As amazing as the static version is, this is even more so. I've never really done much critiques before, but something makes me want to do one for this (even if I can't do a 'real' critique, so it might be a little different than the premium ones). Here's the setup I'll use: The good (what I like), The bad (didn't like), Sustains (if remade/revamped, what to keep), Improvements (if remade/revamped, what to change), and Star Time (where I try to mimic the premium critique ).
THE GOOD
Like with the static version, the out of focus background adds a bit of depth, which is probably something I wouldn't have thought of doing.
The music notes in the little thought bubbles leading up to the "big picture" is a great filler for those smaller spaces.
The rock band jamming out in his head and thoughts.
I didn't notice right away, but the notes coming from each musician is the same color as that emote.
THE BAD
The first thing that bothered me when seeing it was how 'choppy' his movements are.
Second thing I noticed was even though his face is moving around, the headphones are stationary.
When the crowd within the concert moves, all of them move in unison the same amount.
SUSTAINS
The light show on the band is as good as anything I've seen of a real life band performing live.
The added depth is a great way to increase focus on the blue dude and what he has going on.
The colorful notes flying all over the place.
IMPROVEMENTS
Adding more frames to create smoother movement throughout the whole loop.
Change the perspective of the headphones so it matches the movement of the emote's face.
Create a stage for the band to be playing on so the speaker shadows aren't moving around with the crowd.
have a few more layers for the crowd so their movements look more individualized.
STAR TIME!
ORIGINALITY - There might be other pixel/emote art out there similar in design, but this is the first time I've seen one like this.
CREATIVITY - Combining regular sized emotes with larger emotes doesn't always end well for some.
TECHNIQUE - From hear-say and personal experience, creating the shading within larger emotes while honoring regular emotes can prove to be a challenge within itself.
OVERALL - In the amount of time it took you to create both the static and animated versions of this, you were able to implicate a lot of detail into it that can only happen from a lot of practice and patience.

Hope you find this helpful for your future works. Sorry if this is a bit long, even for a critique. Lol, with how much I'm commenting on your account, you'd think we were on the same emote team!

Dont worry about the lenght on the critique, and all your comments, I apreciate it, and I like when I get messages! Anyway a little feedback for your critique: First of, thank you very much for taking your time to make one, I found a lot of the information very useful!
I understand many of the things you dont like, but I actually made this emote piece a long time ago, when emoting was still new for me Im actually not sure if the crowd was meant to move, I think it might have been an accident I see you noticed a lot, that I actually havent noticed, like the speakers shadow also moving.
I might actually make a remake of this sometime, since I like the idea, and when looking at it now, I get annoyed at looking at the silly mistakes I could make better now. If I do, I will make it all from the beginning and you will see: WAY better shading for all the emotes. Up to 10 frames for the animation, aka. way smoother Fixed mistakes. But if I do, its not gonna be the following months, since Im busy with a lot of stuff (the last couple of days Ive been working on a loong comic for a multi-round based contest )
Anyway thanks for the feedback, I like how you categorised it, worked very well! Im honored at the high ratings

It wasn't until after clicking on submit for my critique that I noticed the original submission date for this piece. Kinda felt a bit silly, but if I had noticed it beforehand, I probably wouldn't have posted it. The four categories are a total rip-off from the way we did AAR's when I was doing army stuff.
