I drew this in pencil and then used Adobe to fix it up all perdy, thanks to Messa for helping me out. hope you like.Edit: I fixed the rain, so it looks abit better now.

Why thank you, so kind. I've been drawing for awhile and I got alot of help and tips from the Pro's along the way. But they all say the same things....Draw real life, work on anatomy and the story telling elements. It seems cliche to me now...but it's really true. I had to go and pick up like 5 Anatomy books, and I'm still learning....it just takes time..Thanks for the compliments, but i'm still a novice...some of the folk on these boards are uncanny.

I can't say how awesome this pic is--it's just too awesome. Love that misty-ness where the rain is hitting things; it really brings the picture to life and blends the foreground and background together. I swear, the next pumpkin I carve is going to be wearing a face like that. Fantastic! Gotta +fav this.

Beautiful work, and the rain effect which Messa helped you out with looks great, especially the way the rain looks as if it's splashing off of the surroundings as it hits. I absolutely love the coloring. +fav all the way. (I also agree with comments before mine about a coloring tutorial)

Color Tutorial? Hmmm, I could, but that'd be alot of screen cap images eh? then I would need to have a long paragraph for each post......unless i'm doing things the hard way...Is there an easier solution? Posting a pic for each step seems like over kill....but I could do it...let me know what you think.

If you go to the tutorial section, they upload a bunch of pics inside a zip file and people DL them as tutorials, its pretty handy. Basically you do all the tutorial files, place them in zip folder, and upload to the resources > tutorials >whatever program ya use section.
Very handy. Would love to see how you do your magic.

beautiful work...both the linework and the coloring. My favorite part of the peice is the subtle rain drop splashes. It's the details that make great art.
I agree with the commenter a few above me....i would love to see a tutorial on your coloring process.
