I didn't expect this image to turn out so good, it is one of my favourites among these photos because the eyes just bore into you, it's as if the eyes are look right throw you and into your soul, into your darkest secrets. but every ones interpretation is different, of course.

those eras are fascinating no doubt. one need only examine the art that came out of each of those centuries to see that! still i do prefereth my 19th centurt art when it comes to thine old(er) masters

lol every one has their preferences. I enjoy Luis Royo style and Victoria Francis and Chris O.. There styles. That is my favourite. but I love Renaissance style is gorgeous too.

i'm vaguely familiar with royo but not the others so i must look them up at some point
you wanna see some absolutely amazing Victorian era oils do a search on John William Waterhouse, you may already know of him anyway but if not def check him out, i think his stuff suits your interests!

yes, i agree... I don't want to sound vain but I think my eyes are my strongest and most beautiful feature and i am proud of them
