This was a request from . This is her OC Sailor Luna and I belive 's OC, Sailor Sun. She had several slight variances to Sailor Luna's design, but I went with the form from this reference [link] .

I really enjoyed this piece and I liked the contrast in outfit design of the characters. I challenged myself to make a slightly more detailed background and I am very happy with the results.

I used this reference [link] by the lovely . I'm increasingly becoming aware of the difficulty of having to go back to my sketches and changing the anatomy to an anime-styled anatomy ! Bigger heads, smaller torsos, and longer legs, oh my!

I made the line art on Paint Tool Sai. I've been loving having SAI, but it keeps crashing on me. Anyone else have this problem? Because of that I did all the coloring and background on Photoshop. I used only the default brushes on PS and a Bamboo Tablet.

I tried to make it shiny, but I struggle with adding lots of white highlights. I generally go back over them and erase them with a low opacity brush !
