Thank you, Alice. There were three engines to this train, two the color you see here and one was blue and white. Sometimes they are green.

This one was empty and moving very slow, I put my camera away, walked .2 of a mile to the crossing and still waited 5 minutes for it to pass. One engine pulling and 2 pushing.

Musta been off to a slow start. They usually zip right on through here, with some exceptions of course.

It was stopping, after it passed I heard the brakes go on. Probably waiting for a northbound train to pull onto the siding so he could continue south, it may have been to long for the siding.

You know, you'd think they'd just lay double track all over the place so they wouldn't have to deal with delays like that.

That would seem to make a lot more sense but they still manage to move a remarkable number of trains on this track each day.
