THE TRAINER:

Generally, Kaili was never considered to be "special" in any way. She wasn't born with psychic powers, as a Poke-fusion, or even a sense of style. However, she is unique in one way. A personality not quite similar to those of her fellow competitors.

Kaili was born...

Bitchy.

Yes, bitchy. Not emotional or without tact (although this is sometimes the case), just plain bitchy. She almost never seems to approve of situations or people. Even the god-only-knows-how-she-made-them friends are constantly insulted or simply "not good enough". These friends, however, have learned to live with the way Kaili is and accepted that she won't change easily. This particular acceptance even managed to get her a boyfriend, Beck. They often fight about stupid things, occasionally going at the throat, even death threats are made on Kaili's part. Though even if she won't admit it, she does care for Beck and would beat the shit out of anyone for him.

Her Pokemon don't seem to mind the way she acts and, in fact, usually spend more time with her than doing anything else (especially Norris, who sticks to her side at all costs).

Kaili has never made it past the first round of any competition, but she hopes for that to change in the Ohana Islands. As she's mentioned before; "I've worked my ass off way too long to get booted out again by these fucking bitch-faces."

THE TEAM:

Cheru (Charizard)
Gender: Female
Ability: Blaze / Nature: Serious
Item - Power Band (A pink and black striped band worn on her left wrist. Raises Attack)
Bio: As the starter Pokemon, Cheru has always been well-trained and treated with the most respect. She is a loyal Pokemon, powerful and intelligent, as well as a role model for the rest of the team. She is often blunt and gives her honest opinion about everything, taking that trait from her Trainer.

"CP", CreepyPasta (Elekid)
Gender: Male
Ability: Static / Nature: Naive
Item: Bright Powder (A glittering powder worn on his hands, it flashes brightly when he uses electricity. Lowers foe's accuracy.)
Bio: CreepyPasta, also called CP, is the most recent addition to the BFOI team. He is usually put off as having a cocky personality, but can be rather forgetful and a bit of an airhead. In battle, CP will not move, and instead charge all of his electric power while waiting for the foe to approach.

Fuzzy&Carl (Doduo)
Gender: Male
Ability: Early Bird / Nature: Quirky
Item: Sharp Beak (A sharp encasing that fits around the beaks. Raises Flying-Type attack power)
Bio: Josalin, Kaili's younger sibling, originally owned this Pokemon and gave each head a name. Ironically, the two do not at all get along as Pokedex entries say they should. In fact, Fuzzy has made a point to be dominant, and will often damage Carl in fierce, random pecking attacks.

Freed (Shiny Jumpluff)
Gender: Male
Ability: Leaf Guard / Nature: Mild
Item: Rose Incense (A scented powder hidden within Freed's cotton. Raises Grass-type attack power.)
Bio: Freed is another new addition to the team, originally owned by Don Rey. He was entered in the competition as a trial of power, and so far, he's failing. This little Jumpluff prefers to keep out of trouble, and while he does his best to please others, Freed puts his own needs first.

Amity (Marill)
Gender: Male
Ability: Huge Power / Nature: Impish
Item: Damp Rock (A power-infused rock hidden under Amity's hat. Lengthens the turns of Rain Dance.)
Bio: Amity was originally given to Kaili as a present (in the form of an Azurill) from her friend, Dan. Amity has been babied his whole life, and grown to believe that he is the most badass pimp. Kaili blames Beck for this because of his apparent "hippie ego" when, in reality, Amity is just an ass. He is flustered easily but will do just about anything to seem superior.

Chuck "Norris" (Linoone)
Gender: Female
Ability: Pickup / Nature: Lax
Item: Quick Claw (A blunt encasing that fits around Norris' claws. May allow the first hit in battle)
Bio: Chuck Norris, usually called "Norris", is a very laid back Linoone that likes to take things slowly and not worry about the small things. However, if something does startle or anger her, Norris' eyes will become a deep red rather than their natural light blue. She is a good listener, and likes to offer support even if it isn't understood.

PET POKEMON:

Trinny (Sandslash)
Gender: Female
Nature: Bashful
Bio: Trinny was born to look slightly different than the average Sandslash - not shiny, but more pup-like. Her arms are slightly longer, with a more armor-like shape to the front paws, and sort of "dragon feet". She is extremely shy and prefers to keep out of sight, although warming up to anyone who kindly offers her food. She does not battle, even though trained to do so.

TRIVIA:

- Kaili is never without the red bow she wears in her hair (seen on the dress, as well). It is an important personal item that's history has never really been explained.
- If there's one thing Kaili absolutely hates, it's showing skin. This is meddled with the hate of feeling uncomfortable, which explains her partial cover-up in swimwear.
- Kaili's favorite color is purple. Go figure.
- Pleasing Kaili is not an easy task. However, this doesn't mean she can't appreciate gifts or compliments. She'll insult or hit you because of it, but that just means she's happy.
- Kaili does not blush. Period.
- Norris' change in eye color is caused by an anxiety disorder that she carries through her generation - it is sometimes believed to be Pokerus, but highly unlikely.
- Cheru is sometimes shown off as the 'strongest of her species' when this is, in fact, not true. The only difference is that she pushes herself to the limit during battle, which is why she is often exhausted or cranky afterward.
