**Yawns!**Something quick before my dinner needs to be reheated for the second time ... also Law and Order is awaiting my attention.
Gang, this might be my last picture for this year since I have two driving gigs this week and possibly one more this weekend. I have at least one possible gaming night coming up next Saturday (I didn't make it to the one this past weekend due to the driving gig for Saturday night.)
So, I hope this will tie you over until I post again (which I hope will be on New Years.) I will be around, doing this or that ... though my inbox looks like it's got over 12K deviations to look at. That might get cleaned out here soon.
Sorry for the delay and slow down ... you all know the reason for the season.

Yeaaaaah! Big axe for a big spirited girl! I dig huge weapons! Got such a fond history with them. Nothing better than to show who's boss with a huge thing that you can wallop people with! Doesn't matter how you look, how you talk. Just bring out that axe, and BAMN! Respect!

Ol' Caitlynn became the Savior of the party in Dungeons and Dragons with her vorpal great axe, Hellbringer. You ought to hear the "trophy wall" she's got of defeated foes.

Well, most of it has to do with RPing stories from way back in my teenager days. The Storm Giant (Storm as he was known back then; later in the current group I'm with, he's known as the Giant) used Tempest as his weapon of choice. When I started going back through notes, I was listening to a friend of mine describe Tempest (the battle axe) as ... gawd! I cannot remember, but going from Heroes Unlimited to Rifts makes it a Mega-Damage Weapon (but there's a special name for it!)
Anyways, I had started work on the "Destiny's Daughters" characters and Caitlynn seemed like she needed a weapon. Originally, her predecessor, Shaio Bloodheart, used the weapon her adventures where the Changelings (the cat-girls In the Princess's world) broke free from the dominion of the Demons. Keep in mind, the Changelings were created to be slaves to the Demonkind. However, the Demon King was not about to let her prize go like that, nor unleash Tempest on his own people and definitely not wielded by a slave ... so, he took control of her one last time and had Shaio kill the Bremlin Queen at the time. I think her name was ... yes ... Belkis Infinity, first of the Infinity rulers. Morphia, her daughter, took up the reigns to lead her kingdom in the war. I would take Tia Stormbringer and Tana Kayla working together to free Shaio. However, it came at a price. The Bremlin people never forgave Shaio for what happened and her people, the changelings, became slaves to the people of the Flip Side.
While Shaio was the Queen of the Changelings, she bore the responsibility for what happened. Even with Tia and Tana Kayla's explanation to what happened, the people didn't care. Morphia would seal Tempest away in a vault for years to come until Caitlynn broke in one night and obtained it. It was said that the Dark Goddess herself allowed Caitlynn to get into the vault ...
