Actually, Benson and Skips would make for perfect foils for the Stooges (Vernon Dent, Bud Jamison, e.t.c.). Mordecai, Rigby and Muscle Man would be good members of the trio, though I don't know exactky who would be who. Maybe if one of them ends up like Curly, HFG would take their place as Shemp. Pops reminds me of the bearded lady from the circus-themed short 'Three Little Twirps', the bubbly woman in "Three Sappy People" and Emil Sitka's character in "Brideless Groom" ("Hold hands, you lovebirds!"), Mr. Maellard would be one of the old millionaire socialites that hires the Stooges for odd jobs and gets his big estate destroyed 
Lol, long obsessive tangent over. I love this picture though, glad to see there's still fans of the boys out there.

I think Rigby should be Shemp because his personality fits with his. They're both cowards, they both can fight (not as well), they're both really cocky, and they both stick up for themselves (rarely).
Muscle Man fits for Curly since he is weird like him, childlike, really, strong, takes a lotta pain, and his (woooooos! And piglike squwills) remind me of Curly's (whoop! Whoop! Whoop! NYUK! NYUK! NYUK!)
