Aaah I had Corel for a bit. Could never get the hang of it.
Photoshop elements 11 is what I'm currently using. Personally, I really like it.

Well, I do like Photoshop Elements, but it is a bit pricey. There's one that is similar (Me Paint or something) and free if you want to give it a spin.
