Here we have the adorable second generation water starter pokemon, Totodile
This adorable sprite is made out of hama/perler beads by me, myself, and I.
Sprite measures about 3" X 4".

Totodile!!!!!!!!!! I looooooove Totodile! Omigosh! All but once did I pick it as my started! The other time was Cyndaquil! Omigosh! That's amazing!

it's always a tough decision for me too, which one to pick. i'm not that keen on chikiritta as a starter, but i normally battle it out with myself whether i pick totodile or cyndaquil in the beginning for about an hout lol

Same here! But I've always gotten farther faster with Totodile, and done more with it! But Cyndaquil is a POWERHOUSE later! Especially against the later gyms! I'm not really a fan of just SECOND generation grass starter, Chikarita... she's cute, but still... *cough cough*-useless-*cough cough*. . . what? I didn't say anything! XD

yeah i always find that since the first few gyms are like grass/poison/bug/normal types, that the fire and water starters can get past them easier, and get stronger faster than the grass starters can, (not in the case of the first generation though, because once bulbasaur learned vine whip, onix and starmies were TOAST!!!)
but i give it a good shot with each starter, once i've finished the game i'd trade out my favorite/rare pokemon to another game, and then start over and do it all over again with a different starter, then trade my favorites back in so i end up with all three in the end hehe

Same here! Omigosh! I always tend to trade over the Pokemon I love to another game, and if you're LUCKY and have extra games (because you're obsessed like me

i have all the games, except my crystal broke over time, so that's the only one i have to replace.
and i bought both black and white, but gave one to the girl i used to date, and she still has that one, so i should get that one back, and then my collection will be complete MUHAHAHAHAHAH (evil laugh for added maliciousness)

I haven't gotten Black and White... kinda debating on getting it, and I'm in a money rift, so we're on the down side of it... buuuuuuuut I've seen the starters... I would pick the grass...

nah i've actually started over black once, and white twice from a while back and picked a different one each time and liked them all. i'm just one of those people that likes ALL of the pokemon starters, and feels bad if i don't pick one and leave them out haha

Yeah, same here! That's why I've always gotten all three copies of the games, but I am often finding myself using the fire-type starters the most! Since they're one of the rarer types in the games.
