It looks like The Karts and bikes will work like in Mario Kart Wii. You get certain bikes and karts if you are a small, medium or large character.

I gotta admit this second trailer was pretty great. I'm kinda neutral on the Koopalings' addition, though, since I still don't know how they're going to do with 7 different Koopalings on the roster - all in the same character slot (and you could rotate to which one you want) or in separate character slots?
