This wasn't even supposed to be a part for Comic Sans, but after talking to RS-V22 , I knew this had to be the next one. 
(Sorry, non-Sansby and non Papyton-lovers! 
) This is set sometime after Cheri was born (about perhaps a year or so? Cheri doesn't grow much so that's why she's still a tiny lil skelly.) Papyrus and Mettaton announce to Sans and Grillby that they will be having their own little baby bones, but it seems that Sans doesn't take the news well. 
Β You know Sans is serious if he uses all caps. Anyway, I hope you all like it!

Ok, first off, grillby already has a daughter and I assume a wife. Second, how did Sans and Grillbs have a baby (they're both dudes). Third, Papy and mettaton are dudes so how are they gonna have a smol? SO MANY QUESTIONS that fire skelly bab is cute af tho

Fuku Fire is not canonly related to Grillby in the game. Sans and Grillby had the baby by means of soul bonding (and it doesn't matter what gender the monster is, they have no genitalia), which is a headcanon of mind. Same thing with Papyrus and Mettaton.

My personal headcanon when it comes to monster reproduction is that of βsoul-bondingβ. It is a physical and emotional bond between two monsters (polyamorous relations have not been found to exist yet). It is different than sex. Sex using genitalia (magic or otherwise) will never produce offspring at all. It must be with the souls.
Soul bonding is based upon trust. Having someone so close to your soul demands complete trust and understanding. Both monsters must be consensual, or else it does not happen. A soul bond occurs when both souls are placed together in a blast of magic. If the process is carried all the way through, the two souls combine their magic to create a living representation of that love - an offspring soul. This is a very private, intimate experience between the two monsters. After the offspring soul is created, this is called a pregnancy. The baby soul attaches itself to the monster with the least DEF stats and remains that way for six months. At the end of that period, the soul will detach and create a physical form, thus resulting in a baby monster. Up to four baby souls can be created from a soul bond, but it depends on the monster species.
Typically, monsters are supposed to be married before a soul bond happens, because a soul bond will leave a mark on both souls, a sign of their love. Monsters will not soul bond if they believe that their mate is not the right one for them.

Ohh, okay. With the DEF thing, It says on the wikia that Mettaton has 47 in EX, but in brackets it says 1. Papyrus has 20 in the Neutral, so... Does that mean the Soul attaches to Mettaton or Papyrus, making which the pregnant one? Confusion...!

In my Candytale AU, Mettaton has the most DEF regardless (since his body is made of metal, therefore making him a hard target). But I guess it depends on the viewer.
