Its interesting, I did a painting about touch too. Its not in my gallery, however, because it was too glossy to get a good picture of it. Do you think that sensual feelings derived from touch are often overshadowed or overlooked by those derived from sight?

Hmmm... Good question. I think it might be the other way around, e.g. sensual feelings from sight often overshadow those derived from touch. So much of what we see now is sooo visual, be it sexah billboards or commercials on tv, or even random porn on the internet lol. I think we live very much in a visual world now, constantly bombarded by images and visual sensuality by the media. Yet it's those sensual moment's we share with the ones we love in person, touching, feeling, caressing that unfortunately are becoming the minority I think.

oops, lol, often times words fail me, but yea i agree, touch is eclipsed by vision. Its wierd though, I think its the opposite for me. I think i became jaded to visuals since I am very used to seeing nudity through my anatomy studies, so its hard for me to get anything out of good ol' porn from the internet. WHY??.... lol.
I just got "The internet is for porn" from avenue q running through my head right now lol!!

This is sort of on a totally unrelated note, but funny- my boyfriend has these 3 guppies, one male 2 female. The females sort of beat up the male and killed it. We're speculating that the females were lesbian and got fed up with the male hitting on them.
The odd thing about relationships is that they happen upon those who seem to be of the mentality that they don't need one. Its weird how fate works.

Hahaha Great theory. Poor guppy... I see what you mean about that mentality. Almost like fate trying to smack those people upside the head to see what they are missing.

I think so. Well that philosophy isn't a new idea though, its just a different way to interpret the saying "a watched pot never boils".
Oddly enough I hear that in quantum physics, sub atomic particles behave differently if you watch them. Its weird, trippy, and makes me take that saying even more seriously.
