Chica, you are such a freaking amazing friend, and you must be properly lurved!!! You totally deserve it! Ditto to being appreciated for your artwork, because holy cow it's been so much fun seeing your works (I need to comment but amg they're all so lovely and deserve proper feedback and spazzing and alskdfjl;askdjflksdf). You're so imaginative and sincere with your artwork, it's something I look up to you for. Every time you upload something, I see you practicing a new technique, or experimenting with poses, or creating fun backgrounds. There's always something new, and you're constantly tackling the icky picky parts of art that most people try to ignore! xD One year older, one year more proficient in art and life. OuO You're doing it well, Thena.
And because I'm a selfish individual, I think you deserve a thank you on a more personal level. And so there's a need to say this: I honestly don't know if I would've retained my sanity this semester without you. Thank you so much for being there for me when I most needed it. The kindness and compassion you've shown me is something I will never forget.

Such a great picture. It's filled with action and everywhere you looks is something going one. The foreshortening of her leg is spot on and doesn't feel forced or awkard. I don't know if you want some criticism, but I feel this pose could have become a bit more dynamic if you were to rotate her a little. Don't get me wrong, the pose looks excellent (only her bent arm looks a bit awkward). It's just all shifted to the same plane, if that makes sense. Sorta?

Like I feel so bad that I haven't commented on this yet
But please know that I look at it several times a day, and spaz every time I do x3
I first off looooove the pose, it's totally what I imagine her looking like when she issues an attack ;w; then the way you have her arms, it's like she's doing a hard kick while running. Loooovely sense of motion there
That motion is also accentuated by - you guessed - dat hair ;w; like seriously, the way you have the main bit flowing to the side and kinda shorter suggests that it's flying behind her, while the braids show the change in momentum - I've tried to show that on occassion but the braids always come out straight and stiff. Excellent job there ;u;b
The lighting and shadows here are excellent amg. They really sell that there's fire and weapons fire and that this is all happening in the daytim--how do multiple lighting sources amg
Speaking of lighting, one of my favorite parts has to be the lighting on the leg armor. I mean I loooooove all the work that went into this, from the smoke coming from the bullet holes to the crumbling structures to the akuma to just the everything, but that metal . . . that's just like holy cats, I love et
The million hearts too amgggggg they're too cute ;w;; still love those little green babus (you little brat, by the way. When you asked me what flower I'd associate with Mali at first I thought you were doing a drawing her Mali and a flower, but I was like "don't get all cocky nao chika" so I wrote it off as just curiosity bUT THEN YOU DID A THING). Funny story though! Apparently Mali is Thai for "jasmine flower" and not just flower, and jasmines are a symbol of grace and elegance, which it totally her xDD (even funnier is that this is the second time I've accidentally given a chara a name that worked that well for them. Suryanarayanas are apparently typically friendly, responsible, protective, and servants of the people - like a certain exorcist we know?)

Seriously though, I'm humbled that I've not only met such amazing and lovely and amazing individuals as yourself, but that ya think that highly of me . . . I really don't know how I deserve y'all but I'm incredibly grateful ;w;;
