Completed a commission of David Bowie's Jareth Masquerade Mask from the film, Labyrinth.

The sections of the mask are the main face, two horns and handle. The face and horns were sculpted out of clay and molded separately. A light-weight material from Smooth On called 'Feather Lite' was used to cast the horns and the main face was cast in Smooth Cast 65D, a semi-rigid plastic.

Once the face and horns were cleaned up, apoxie sculpt was used to sculpt the skeleton hand directly onto the face. Afterwards, I covered a wooden dowel with apoxie sculpt and added a nut and screw system to attach the handle to the hand. Everything was coated with a base coat of primer and was then airbrushed for the final coat.
