its part of the adobe suite, just like pshop or illustrator - To be honest its not exactly perfect for doing this stuff, its totally aimed at creating web graphics and layouts rather than intricate drawings and such and doesnt cope well when file sizes get big. Youre much better off with illustrator or pshop, im making the transition to pshop myself as fireworks is starting to really struggle with what i want to do.

as for critek her arm is leaning on the self and her scert is in fubt of the self yet the arm is also in frunt of the scert

also the light is coming from behind her and were it should be blocked by the panels it still shin's on her leg

nice job on your first try
but.. here comes the butt. check your anatomical errors here:
1. she looks really muscly. the arm looks too big for her body. if you intend to make it look as if shes leaning, i think its better if u raiseher shoulder and keep her arm fit. also play with the shadow
2. the legs look really awkward. i really dont know how or why but i guess its how theyre bent.
3. her right foot are also awkwardly placed (to me)
^^^^^^ to solve problems above, you might want to change the level of the plane that her elbow is leaning onto
thats pretty much about the girl. as for the critical part.. play with the lightings and dont try to make things look square-ish
