one of my older images for Mildred's Jewelry mixed in with silver jewelry from Filigrenasia.Mildred's Jewelry's all about diamonds. there was a guard watching me as i shot, haha.

kinda gothy but very beautiful all the same, very emotional. i was going to ask how you get the diamonds to stand out so much? is it just the lighting or did you do any post-work to make them stand out more?

yeah how did u know about that? i didn't really have any classes in photography, it was just a very small summer workshop where they taught us the different buttons of the camera. the rest was practice practice...
i was lucky though to have had that class under a commercial photographer. i watched him work for 2 years every now and then

hahaha silly.. i'm lucky kaya to have learned through francis, he's a great photographer. and i've also got lots of great lessons from a few more artists like marlon rivera, jim paredes and yam laranas who showed me the ropes. just practice and practice 
(the rain this weekend is so nice noh? nice break from all that sun)

ah you're still studying? well don't worry, you can always do whatever you want . don't be bogged down by a stupid course, i took up communication with a lot of management, and now i'm doing almost 100% artwork. and i took a very small class a few years back with Francis abraham. so i had about 3-4 days of photography lessons. that's all i got.

yup.im still studying.and hella stucked in a course i don't really like that much.maybe when my shifting to architecture would be approved, then i'd be really happy.whoa!really?where can i find francis abraham?i think you mentioned he's in makati..does he offer workshops of some sort?nagha-hunting na ako ng mga pagkakaabalahan this summer (my skul, mapua, has barely a month of summer vacation.pambihira.) like painting lessons/workshops in up diliman, photography workshops etc.

yup. how much would it cost me? my summer starts in an unusual week/month..our summer break is from 4th week of march to 3rd week of april only...by april 17 kasi, start na ng 4th term namin. oooh! actual shoot!i'd love to!excited na ako!i just hope payagan ako ng mom ko

nope haven't seen her shots in cubao. i just saw a few shots in fudge magazine. it was a spread that had a charlie & the chocolate factory theme to it.. but i personally didn't like the shots. maybe it was the printing. i dunno.

Great picture! I like how the lighting (or editing...it looks like lighting to me) makes her skin look silver-bluish, which accentuates the silvery jewelery better. The color of her hair helps too. Very pretty!

yeah i knowwww that's the thing that made me squirm as well. i was thinking of adjusting it digitally but it looks pretty fake. the angle's pretty crooked huh? hehe. damn. oh well, there's only so much i can do to fix this photo.

yeah, the hair and the crooked ring made me go "CURSES!" haha. i had to shoot so many i didn't have time to fix it to make it perfect. sigh. too bad. this is as much as i can do with this one.
