It has been some weeks ago since the announcement of my little "project"
But now ... it's finally finished!
I was making some fine tuning on details and added some text but .... I'm that a miserable writer I just do hope it's understandable what I wrote.
And if there are any mistakes in the writing, let me know please. I'd be so grateful to know what could be fixed.

I know I woudn't expect that a lot would see or rather read this.
But anyways, I'm trying to explain this:

I know that the Kingdom of Baron is split into the two separated parts: The City of Baron and Castle Baron.
How far the distance is, I just forgot to take some measurements (my bad ...)
And I was thinking that on that place in between there might be definitively a kind of a little secret hideaway where just a few know.

- Panel 1: I can remember, that Cecil and Rosa know each other and are friends since childhood. Even if they were playing with young Kain together, I thought they even met secretly at their "little secret place" for some reason

- Panel 2: And even after some years the young teens (probably between 14 and 15 years) still meet at their secret place if they have time. I discovered an image of the younger Dark Knight Cecil which lead me to draw him in this style. And I guess Rosa was an apprentice for White Magic. Her design was based off from Refia's design in Final Fantasy III

- Panel 3: Yay! First nighttime picture! And I'm really happy with the result! Because it's kinda a remake of an older picture I drew long time ago and it looks even more prettier than before.
And some years later, the two lovebirds are still together ...

- Panel 4: Well .... do you know what festive occasion it is? Some secret hints are in the details ...
I really had fun drawing this panel. I found the tree decoration with the flowers on bottles so romantic

- Panel 5: *SPOILERS!* - Troubling things has been settled and after the big surprise at the end of FF IV - The Interlude Cecil and Rosa spent their time peacefully together during the last months. *END OF SPOILER*
Admittedly, it was interesting to try out something different such like unusual body proportions. But serioulsly, I was really aware to draw it still. Because as I was searching for some references I found ... well, very odd things and collection of even more weird things which goes into a kind of fetish, instead of some suitable references ...

- Panel 6: YAY! Family time! I was really hyped to color this lovely picture. Yet I had some difficulties in drawing some specific clothing designs (because I wanted to change it)
Anyways, I even managed to give Cecil a bit more "légère" clothing style.
I do think that little Ceodore was born between the late spring or early summer. And experiencing his first autumn would be something pretty. And hey, some random White Magic is included, too! Being a Paladin, Cecil can do some White Magic on his own so why not playing around it with their kid?

- Panel 7: Could this be a Déjà-vu or will the story been told anew? Who knows ...
A good friend from Fabul is visiting and so the kids can play together. And strangely they found their favourite place here.
I found it interesting to make it anew. Seems that little Ceodore has found his favourite place. And I guess that Ceodore and Princess Ursula understand each other well. Maybe because their parents are very good friends, too.

- Panel 8: I do think that Ceodore still come back to this (and maybe his favourite) secret place to take some rest after having a tough training as knight or anything else.

- Panel 9 - 11: some background practicing in different seasons to make some little tension (was interesting to explore and after a poll: You wanted a winter scene? I did that and et voilà, you'll get a winter scene)

- Panel 12: Many years has passed, and since they first met as children it has developed a deep bond between Cecil and Rosa. And throughout the years this bond has been frimly rooted like a tree, which grew steadily and still steadfast, no matter what odds happened to both. A lasting bond being as old as a tree ...

I know to myself that Final Fantasy IV is not that known such like FF VII or the modern FF-titles. But still, FF IV is really a sweet title for my taste. I love the melodramatic in it. Also the cast are so endearing.
And beside of my most favourite title of all time - Final Fantasy IX - FF IV is one of my favourite titles I totally enjoy.

The sentences of the last panel is an extract from TheIkranRider77 's fanficion Trials of a King - A FF IV Story
The scene on panel 6 where Cecil uses his White Magic to play with Ceodore, I got inspired by this lovely picture here
And seriously, it's a real rarity to find on deviantART a picture of Cecil, Rosa and Ceodore as family together. And this is the only one I've ever found here on this site! A real rare gem I've found out of coincidence

A special shoutout to spoonybards for her lovely FF IV drawings and for her little sketch of the cutest lil' kid Cecil ever!

Special thanks to Lucina-Waterbell for helping me finding the suitable colors for Rosa's dress on panel 5 and 6! I went really nuts because I could't find the suitable color palette for her on my own.
Also many thanks to Cursed-form , Istrandar and RasheruSuzie for pointing out some details on the background it should be fixed. Thanks guys! Now some details look better than before.

Thanks to DanSyron 's Magic Potions Tutorial I managed to make the lovely bottle decoration on Panel 4 so easily.
