Why do I have a feeling that if the character that was being made to be gay or bi was a female, that somehow it wouldn't bother you.

The appropriate response to saying you don't like something like this is "Seeing guys being tickled isn't my thing". It is not to explain how it is emasculating for a man to be tickled.
By saying that "dudes getting tickled is very gay" you're assigning a gender role to this kind of thing and implying that men should always be dominating over women and that women should be the submissive. It's also shaming men who would rather be tickled by their partners than be doing the tickling.
You're comment could also be interpreted as saying that there is something inherently wrong with being anything other than heterosexual. Sexuality is a spectrum, just like gender is. If you think that homosexuality and bisexuality is unnatural or is immoral in some sense: look up the sexual behavior of bonobos. The bonobo is closely related to humans and scientists actually think that early human behavior could have been similar to that of the bonobos.

Dude, I don't want to be rude, but your wrong on all counts in this case. First of all, a woman tickling a guy is not the same as two guys doing it to Barney the dinosaur. I don't really know where you came up with that honestly. There are women who like tickling, and there are women on DA who like and do artwork of it. And second, as pointed out, there's no reason to be afraid of a person who is gay. A person that's gay is no different than anyone else other than there sexual preference.
