Do you know this reminds me of a Superman Comic image but perfectly done in an abstract form. we can see the Red cape flowing,, the blacks and blues are visible also, and that green Kryptonite is full on. sorry, i know it's most likely got nothing to do with what i see but, as soon as i saw this i thought this is the perfect Abstract interpenetration to this comic image.

Well it does have the same elements. Black, green, red, the flowing, glowing, but I have to tell you, the painting came first, the title second. BTW, is there blue kryptonite? Now I forget what the effects of red kryptonite were vs. green kryptonite.

Blue kryptonite is the Bizarro analog to green kryptonite. It has had healing effects on Superman. In Smallville it suppresses Kryptonians' powers and removes their sensitivity to green kryptonite. It can also purify water.
Can't give you chapter and verse, but the reference to Smallville makes me think it's more New Testament.

Sounds about right though about smallville and new testament. Wasn't there a curse or something of that desecration on anyone who profited from superman? the Creators of Superman got ripped off? so they cursed the character? i maybe wrong but i do recall reading that somewhere?
