Yes, my Christmas Kitten was a present for 2 adorable twin girls, age 7, called Oline og Veslemøy!
They are the daughters of a dear cousin of mine.

You're so sweet. I hope they loved the kitten and want to learn how to cross-stitch. Wouldn't that be cool? Do little girls still want to do needlework, or are they already on the tablet?

Girls and boys learn basic needlework at early age at school, but they are learning so little that it becomes boring, I think.
But tablets they are using from age 1 or 2, and they are really experts by the time they start school!
(when they are 6 years old)

So those kids have been using a tablet as long as you have? Or longer?

I'm afraid that needlework and other crafts will die, unless the internet shuts down. 
If that happens, at least you and I can be entertained with needlework and crafts.

15 years ago I didn't have internet, a radio, or a television, just a boom box. My friends would come visit and we would listen to CDs and paint all night. I love the internet, but I'm not afraid of losing it. I do need electricity nevertheless.

Kids are truly experts! I only got a tablet, and learned how to use it, last Spring....😋

The internet is both fantastic and terrible!
For me, who are living in hiding on secret address, it is a friend! But I could easily live without it too, as long as I had my TV, my CDs and needlework! 😍
But, my daughters have learned how to crochet by looking to youtube videos! 👍

A boom box is a large portable CD player. It usually has loud speakers so it can be played outside.
