Description Wayrift SPOILERS! (Yay!)

I felt like drawing Tai and his son Z2 (Zento the Second.. whom Tai fondly calls the "Kid"). Don't look so surprised... Tai is a fairly good father! Kids love his sour self for some reason. *shrug*

Anyhow. I know lots is probably wrong with this but it was a quick draw, ink and paint. I felt like doing something with an autumn feel (as it's my favorite season). Soft colors... leaf brushes. So there you have it.

TsuYaTai belongs to me.
Z2 belongs to my partner in crime, Syn.

Ha ha... Yeah, he wouldn't be happy.

Maybe that's an understatement.

xD You share my style of slapped-together surprisingly-good backgrounds. I appreciate this.

And the plushy. That's too awesome.

Part of me is all "Does not compute" but another part can definitely see Zeb being a good uncle.

I'd be tempted to "borrow" it from him, but Tai's wrath ain't something to be trifled with. *sigh* Guess I'll just keep dreaming.

Ironically, I think it was Zazo who gave Z2 the Zemi plushie. It's weird thinking of those two as parents, huh? XD

Oh yeah. Zemi being sweet and mushy just makes me go cross-eyed. But I knew Tai had a soft side just waiting to come out when no one's looking! xD

Dawwwwwwww. That's so twisted-ly adorable. You are a freaking genius.

I know I always comment on them, but now I've come to the conclusion that you are the Queen of Awesome Backgrounds.

And I love Zemi Dragon Plushy. It's like the cherry on a sunday, finishing touch.

Again, you are more awsome than I ever hoped to be, and it shows in your work.

Me? Queen of Awesome Backgrounds? I appreciate it, but honestly, the backgrounds are the lazy parts of my pictures! I did spend a little more time than usual with this one, though. Maybe it's because I enjoy painting fall colors.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I can't help it if your backgrounds look epic (lazly done or not). Maybe that's why they are so epic? You are so good at them, you subconsciously don't put forth maximum effort because it would melt people's eyes from sheer awesomeness.

Cute!

Though I must know... Where'd you get the brushes, or are they included with the program you used? I wish I could utilize Photoshop's like that... @_@;

Aywren In reply to magedusted [2009-09-28 21:56:43 +0000 UTC]

I used two different kinds of leaf brushes here -- one came with Photoshop (CS2), the other came with a pack of Photoshop drawing brushes I downloaded from somewhere... but I don't remember exactly where. I just collect brushes and experiment!

magedusted In reply to Aywren [2009-09-29 01:55:55 +0000 UTC]

Oooh... Must do that, then! I think I saw some leaf patterns in my copy of CS4... Time to experiment!

Thanks, 'Wren!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aywren In reply to magedusted [2009-09-29 03:18:43 +0000 UTC]

That would probably have them. One looks just like a regular maple leaf... but when you drag it across the page, it leaves a trail which can be used for neat things like bushes or decorations or falling leaves. There's also a neat grass brush in the set that you should look at.

Ooh, I've seen those... Will try it out!

Thanks again, 'Wren!
